One vaccuum to literally do it ALL - @SharkCleaning

I received a Shark Rotator Powered Lift-Away vacuum for the purposes of this review. However, all opinions (as always) are 100% mine.

I have a crawling and inquisitive baby at home. He has lightning fast reflexes when it comes to finding anything, picking it up, and shoving it in his little mouth. He tastes everything and he spends most of his day on the floor, so... I have become obsessed with clean floors.

This is one amazing Transformer of a vacuum. It has every function you could ever need! The Shark Rotator Powered Lift Away is an upright canister vacuum, a hand held vacuum, stick vacuum, and functional hardwood floor cleaner all in one - with four additional attachments to clean pet hair from furniture or crumbs out of cracks and crevices.

Our home is almost entirely hardwood on the main with carpet upstairs and in the finished space of the basement. So I had perfect spaces in which to test out the various Shark Rotator Powered Lift Away functions.

It had an easy glide on the carpets and powerful suction. Even when I thought there was nothing on the floor, this Shark picked up more.

The Hard Floor Genie is one of my favorite functions - you attach a different cleaning head, which comes with an attachable cleaning pad for the "white sock" clean you want on hardwoods. The pad cleans and catches dust while the vacuum gap allows for suction of larger dirt and debris. No need to sweep and use a dustpan and then vacuum again! One mega tool can do it all.

I also really like the low profile. Both heads are narrow to fit underneath furniture and the bottom edges of lower kitchen cabinets. You can even pop off the canister to make it a stick vacuum which will go deep into those underneath furniture spaces. Get that dust from under the couch! I have another "big name" vacuum and I have to sweep crumbs from kitchen crevices first - this Shark was able to get those and save me a step. I'm all for saving steps since I do not like to clean!

I personally think it is a bit heavy with the canister on (the swivel feature, while incredibly maneuverable, made for a sore wrist with the weight of the full canister vacuum), but this Shark is easily transformed into the stick vacuum configuration which works much better for me. I love that option.

The canister has a simple pop-out function and a bottom release to dump dirty contents into a waste can without spreading dust all over a clean floor (or having a bunch of sneezes!)

Does anyone care where the buttons are placed on a vacuum? Yes, I do! Because I have carpet and hardwoods and rugs, I have to switch vacuum functions from carpet to solid floors quite often. I was immediately pleased that the carpet/floor toggle is conveniently located on the top handle! No more bending up and down to change functions. Just a flick of a switch.

I admit, the quantity of attachments had me intimidated at first. I have pretty simple cleaning needs and I was totally unsure about each of the items from the box. However, after doing some tests, I can see how each attachment has a purpose - if you want it. The Shark Rotator Powered Lift Away can do most anything with the standard heads, but you will love the pet hair attachment for furniture and the crevice tool for the car. The roll-along caddy holds the pieces if you want them to come along with you around the house, so it's pretty easy. I however, will mostly just use the regular vacuum heads - carpet and hardwood - and I will use the various configurations like stick vac or upright. The handheld is a lifesaver on stairs!
