Sunday Story: 6 Drinks/Beverages

Week number six of eleven. Sunday Story - based on an incredible prompt list from Daring to Live Fully, where I will eventually have a list of 100 things I love.

6 Drinks/Beverages

  • Diet Pepsi/Coke. In this historic Coca-Cola city, it is nearly blasphemy to mention that "other" brand. But when it comes to a diet cola, I really like Diet Pepsi. Diet Coke works too. I don't drink coffee too often, and a cold caffeine drink like this is my morning pick-me-up.
  • Arnold Palmer. Half sweet tea, half lemonade. Named after the famous golfer. I like it.
  • Iced Coffee. I do not like hot drinks very much. When it is a coffee kind of day, I go for Dunkin Donuts iced coffee, flavored, with Splenda and skim milk. If I'm feeling naughty, maybe cream in lieu of the milk and mocha for flavor.
  • Water. I like drinking water. Definitely the #1 choice when refreshment is a necessity.
  • Guava Pineapple juice. We had this often when we visited Hawaii many years ago. So fresh and delicious! Welch's has a version in the refrigerated section of the grocery store. I get it once in a while - not as good as Hawaii, but still sweet and tasty.
  • Vodka Cranberry. On the rare occasion that I have some liquor, vodka cranberry is my usual choice. I remember having such a drink in my hand after my wedding... and spilling the red concoction down the front of my wedding dress. Ooops.
