I definitely have guilt issues throughout the summer. When it seems like every kid I know is playing at home, staying out late, and not following a rigid schedule, mine is going to bed early and attending school. She has been adjusting to a new classroom, new teacher, and new friends. Sometimes she asks me to stay home with her; those mornings are the worst!
However, I know she has fun once she is there. Last week was Circus Week! Amelia was part of a fancy duo of tightrope walkers.
Upon first getting her assignment, Amelia was very concerned. The teacher had to explain that the tightrope would be a string on the FLOOR. (And sure enough, she did not fall off once!)
