Sunday Story: 10 Restaurants

Week number two of eleven. Sunday Story - based on an incredible prompt list from Daring to Live Fully, where I will eventually have a list of 100 things I love.

10 Restaurants (my Atlanta area favorites)
  • Stoney River  - They claim "legendary steaks", and I have to agree. The caramelized onion mashed potatoes are also delish! And the caprese salad, and the french onion soup....
  • Bistro Niko - Modern French and soooo yummy. The cheese puffs are my favorite pre-dinner treat! My only complaint is that the basket should be much, much larger.
  • Texas Roadhouse - A casual chain restaurant, but my daughter's favorite. She loves when the servers line dance! Food is tasty and very reasonably priced.
  • Jimmy John's - Offering "free smells" daily. Tasty (huge) subs. We knew JJ's from our visits to South Florida, and were happy to finally see them appearing all over Atlanta.
  • P.F. Chang's - I have a weakness for Asian style food. PF Chang's is tasty, but what we really need in Atlanta is their "faster" food version, Pei Wei. One just opened in the ATL international terminal, but we need one in our neighborhood! Now.
  • Seasons 52 - This one has about 33 locations nationwide. Food is always fresh because the menu changes with the seasons. And the mini desserts are scrumptious!
  • Sublime Doughnuts - Reese's peanut butter cup? Red velvet cake? Salted caramel? And all as doughnuts? Yes, please!
  • Maggiano's - If you want gut-busting, enormous Italian dishes, then Maggiano's is the place to be. Be prepared to take some home!
  • The Varsity - My body can only eat here about once per year (definitely not a health food choice!), but it is an Atlanta "must". If you are a visitor to our fair city, pop by and answer "what'll ya have". Just make sure you are ready to order when it's your turn - these ladies and guys move fast!
  • Williamson Bros. - My preferred BBQ choice in the area.
