The baby boy in this house is now over eight months old and a total speed demon. He kind of reminds me of Turbo, that racing snail from the animated children's movie. He's a little guy on all fours, scooting around the room, but scooting really FAST. It seems no obstacle can contain him; he is a baby on the move with lots of things to see (and taste).
With all of that zippy crawling, I have recently noticed red marks around his legs from diaper chafing. Not all diapers fit the same way. Some are more of a rectangle shape and fit more loosely around his little squishy thighs. Looser = more chafing, it seems.
Enter Huggies Snug and Dry diapers with the Sure Fit design. This diaper has more curve to its shape and a thinner feel. It hugs baby's soft and sensitive skin and stays with him as he moves and races throughout his busy baby day. We have been testing Huggies Snug and Dry for a few days now, and no chafing! Before, I was using baby lotion or petroleum jelly to soothe the red marks. Not needed anymore! So far so good, and he seems as happy as can be on his daily quests for adventure.
When you are diaper shopping, don't forget the wipes! All wipes are not created equal.
I can't stand the ones that tear when you are trying to pull them out or the kind that feel too stiff and rough. Baby skin is soft and smooth, so shouldn't baby wipes be as well? Huggies Natural Care wipes are thick enough to handle his biggest "messes" but with an extra soft touch; the wipes also have natural ingredients and are hypoallergenic. I have even used them for my own skin!
Do you have uses for baby wipes beyond diaper changes?
I do! Hypoallergenic, soft, and soothing baby wipes can be used for grown-up facial cleansing, a quick wipe-down of bathroom surfaces, by the high chair to wipe baby's face after a messy meal (napkins are just too rough!), and even in the car for a quick cool-down or hand wipe after playtime at the park. We have packs of baby wipes almost everywhere!
I purchased Huggies Snug and Dry diapers and Huggies Natural Care wipes at Target, where they always have a full selection of easy-to-find baby products. I have never experienced an out-of-stock diaper size. Did you know that Target has also begun a mail-order subscription service? With Target's new subscription program, parents can have baby's diapers and wipes delivered right at home automatically, depending on the frequency selected. How great is that?! No more lugging the big diaper boxes around the store with a baby in tow. No more perusing the aisles wondering if you have enough diapers left at home. This subscription service provides the convenience that anyone with a baby should love! One less thing to think about, so parents like me can spend an extra few moments chasing an exuberant, crawling baby.
The Target subscription service can also include personal items, household supplies, health products, pet food, and more. And right now, Target.com has Huggies diapers and wipes coupons! Click the link to print your coupons today.
